This is a heat seal ribbon cable - you need a soldering tip T HEAD - to replace the cable. This will fix the faulty / fading / completely dead pixels on the LCD display.

Attach T-Head to 40w regular soldering Iron. Heat the soldering iron. Remove old Ribbon cable clean the LCD and PCB. Place the new Ribbon. align the cable with LCD. heat the ribbon with T-Head..
