Description:
The refractometer is designed according to the principle that different concentration of liquid has different refractive index.
Designed for testing and analysis of glycol in antifreeze for automotive / vehicle batteries.
Allows simple steps to test / analyze glycol concentrations in engine coolant or other antifreeze quickly and accurately.
The refractometer is designed to measure the following:
A. freezing point of antifreeze based on propylene glycol and glycol. It does not measure methanol based antifreeze.
B. freezing point of automobile glass water. It does not measure methanol based glass water.
C. concentration of automobile AdBlue (urea)
D. specific gravity of rechargeable battery fluid (SG).
It is equipped with automatic temperature compensation (ATC), so the spectrophotometer can be adjusted automatically to correct the temperature difference of the ambient temperature.
